Summer Day Camp

Step into the world of horses through a unique, hands-on experience designed to inspire curiosity, empathy, and creativity. Over three exciting days, children will explore how horses sense, think, and interact with their environment—and how we can better support their wellbeing.

 

This camp combines three core themes into one enriching experience:

 

Equine Senses

Discover how horses see nearly 360°, use smell for herd recognition, listen with “satellite ears,” and explore the world through touch and whiskers.

 

Enrichment and Play

Design and build enrichment toys, forage puzzles, and sensory stations to support a horse’s emotional and mental wellbeing—encouraging play, curiosity, and calm.

 

Behaviour and Communication

Learn how horses communicate through body language, herd dynamics, and instinctive behaviours. Build empathy by observing and interacting with our gentle herd.

 

Through creative challenges, and lots of time outdoors with horses, this camp helps children develop emotional awareness, animal care skills, and confidence.
